Nancy Raymond

President

Nancy is a well-recognized young professional in the business world; not just in Ottawa/Gatineau region, but all over Canada. In December 2005, she took the plunge into the business world by purchasing a disaster recovery company. Her first challenge was to get the company back on its feet and to adjust her family life to include this new, fast pace. Her success with this significant undertaking was soon praised by managers of other affiliates, and in 2007 Nancy purchased the chain to which her company belonged in. She became the sole owner, president, and C.E.O. of this network, serving all of Quebec with 18 affiliates, from Outaouais to Shawinigan. In 2016, she acquired the Steamatic Canada chain, which currently has 35 franchises in Canada. Nancy is also involved in various associations and causes related to the insurance field and to other areas and serves on several committees. She holds a degree from the Elite program of the Beauce Business School and is the recipient of several business awards. Known for her business skills, leadership, and ambition, Nancy has become an appreciated, respected, and influential business woman in the insurance industry and business world.

Josée Sabourin

General Manager

Josée has a great deal of experience in the insurance industry. She started in the field in 1992 as a receptionist for UAB (Underwriters Adjustment Bureau). In 2003, seeking a change, she stayed in administration but went to work for a disaster recovery restoration company in Gatineau. She participated in the installation of the first Xactimate system in the industry. In 2004, she returned to UAB and obtained her Property Damage Claims Adjuster permit. UAB became CGI Claims Adjusters and she participated in setting up ISO 9001 certification. In 2007, still with CGI, Josée moved to Montreal to take a position in business development. Finally, in 2008, she moved back into the disaster recovery field, this time with Nancy Raymond, who had just acquired her chain. Josée held several positions directing management operations and also heading the Quebec chain. Following the acquisition of Steamatic Canada, she is now General Manager of the Canadian network and the entire network benefits from her expertise, her management skills, and her knowledge of the processes and procedures in disaster management.

Brigitte Sabourin

Administrative Director

In 2000, Brigitte made her debut in the insurance field, as an administrative assistant at UAB (Underwriters Adjustment Bureau). In 2007, in order to specialize in this area, she was certified as a Property Damage Claims Adjuster. Three years later, she joined the ranks of Première Générale Gatineau as an administrative manager. Her experience as a claim adjuster is very beneficial for the office because she has an increased knowledge of, and ease of dealing with, claims management procedures. In 2016, Brigitte joined the Nancy Raymond team at the head office of Les Entreprises Première Générale as an operations coordinator. Following the acquisition, Brigitte occupies the position of Administrative Director, she provides administrative and technical support to franchisees and manages the bulk payment and volume rebate program.

Sabrina Brown

Finance & Accounting

Sabrina began her career in the insurance industry in 2012 as an accounting intern at General Premier Enterprises. It was in 2013 that she obtained the position of bookkeeper, she quickly learned everything about billing, budgets and any other financial records in accordance with established procedures. Sabrina left the company in 2018 to run her own business and it was in 2021 that she returned to the Steamatic Canada team to take care of the finance department. Sabrina is known for her dedication and strong knowledge, which is an asset to us and the entire Steamatic network.

Stephanie Daoust

Operations Director - Quebec

With a bachelor's degree in business administration, Stephanie worked for over 15 years in the field of disaster recovery for a provincial banner. She worked in a variety of administrative, operational and management roles. Throughout her career, she has developed sound business relationships with many insurers and players in our industry. Stephanie favors a customer-centric approach and uses her excellent interpersonal skills to stimulate teams, while drawing on her critical approach to problem-solving. Stephanie assumes the role of operations director - Quebec at Steamatic Canada. She works closely with franchisees to develop and maintain operational best practices. Whether revising existing processes or introducing new technologies, Stephanie is a powerful ally for our network!

Paul Holden

Regional director - Western Canada

Paul's insurance restoration experience started back in 2005 as the Emergency Services Manager in Calgary Alberta, fully IICRC certified, Paul quickly became the trusted go to for water damage mitigation and repair, he guided his teams through the 2013 Alberta Floods where an estimated 5 billion dollars of damage was created, and soon after took a position as the Business Development Manager. In 2016 sticking with the Business Development side, he continued his success but for a more National brand. During which time helping business growth and supporting offices with KPI and Carrier SLA’s. Paul has a seamless approach when implementing P&L analysis, sales management and relationship performance. As a General Manager of a local "home grown" restoration company, Paul's corporate knowledge and persistent track record on KPI's advanced this small local company on to larger platforms such as Contractor Connections and other National Carrier Service providers. Born and raised in Alberta with his strong engagement of western philosophies, Paul is excited to be part of the expansion of Steamatic and his goal of adding more locations in Western Canada.

Dany Larochelle

Estimator

A seasoned construction estimator, Dany has over 25 years' experience in rebuilding after insurance claims. His expertise focuses in particular on asbestos decontamination, an essential skill in compliance with the most stringent safety standards. For 15 years, Dany worked as a damage appraiser for a renowned insurance company. Thanks to his in-depth knowledge of the claims process, he was able to accurately and fairly estimate reconstruction costs for policyholders. Having joined Steamatic Canada in 2023, Dany represents a valuable asset to the team as Office Manager - National Estimation. His expertise in cost estimation, combined with his ability to manage projects effectively, makes him a professional capable of taking on major responsibilities and ensuring the success of any project within the banner.

Denise Payeur

Estimator

Trained as a secretary-accountant, Denise has worked in the claims and construction industry for over 20 years, as well as in her own small business, where she was responsible for managing estimates, invoicing and delivery. Over the years, she has held various professional positions related to her profession, including five years as a project planner. She has relevant experience in hiring and managing field technicians. In 2021, Denise became an estimator at Steamatic Centre-du-Québec, supporting the provincial banner with a number of human resources tasks to help restructure various franchises. Today, Denise is an estimator for Steamatic Canada, and although she never knows how many hours of work await her, she's proud to represent the banner.
