Nancy Raymond

President

Nancy is a well-recognized young professional in the business world; not just in Ottawa/Gatineau region, but all over Canada. In December 2005, she took the plunge into the business world by purchasing a disaster recovery company. Her first challenge was to get the company back on its feet and to adjust her family life to include this new, fast pace. Her success with this significant undertaking was soon praised by managers of other affiliates, and in 2007 Nancy purchased the chain to which her company belonged in. She became the sole owner, president, and C.E.O. of this network, serving all of Quebec with 18 affiliates, from Outaouais to Shawinigan. In 2016, she acquired the Steamatic Canada chain, which currently has 35 franchises in Canada. Nancy is also involved in various associations and causes related to the insurance field and to other areas and serves on several committees. She holds a degree from the Elite program of the Beauce Business School and is the recipient of several business awards. Known for her business skills, leadership, and ambition, Nancy has become an appreciated, respected, and influential business woman in the insurance industry and business world.

Josée Sabourin

General Manager

Josée has a great deal of experience in the insurance industry. She started in the field in 1992 as a receptionist for UAB (Underwriters Adjustment Bureau). In 2003, seeking a change, she stayed in administration but went to work for a disaster recovery restoration company in Gatineau. She participated in the installation of the first Xactimate system in the industry. In 2004, she returned to UAB and obtained her Property Damage Claims Adjuster permit. UAB became CGI Claims Adjusters and she participated in setting up ISO 9001 certification. In 2007, still with CGI, Josée moved to Montreal to take a position in business development. Finally, in 2008, she moved back into the disaster recovery field, this time with Nancy Raymond, who had just acquired her chain. Josée held several positions directing management operations and also heading the Quebec chain. Following the acquisition of Steamatic Canada, she is now General Manager of the Canadian network and the entire network benefits from her expertise, her management skills, and her knowledge of the processes and procedures in disaster management.

Martin Demuy

Vice-president sales & business development / Canada East

Martin is well-known in the restoration industry because of his great social skills and his rigor. Having more than 20 years of experience in line with insurance, Martin has built great and lasting business relationships with many individuals in the disaster recovery field. He has been the business development director of a franchise in building restoration for 6 years. It is safe to say he has a lot of knowledge in business operations and growth. Martin joins the Steamatic Canada team in 2017 as Vice-President of sales and business development. He will take care of the network’s development and business relations with clients. With Steamatic’s development goals for the next few years, this challenge seeker will be fulfilled!

Michel St-Pierre

Quality Control Director

Michel started working for TD Assurance on February 7th, 1983. He spent 27 years in corporate administrative services and then moved into the compensation department where he managed suppliers for 6 years. From coordinator to director of compensation, Michel saw this Quebec family business grow and was part of numerous corporate changes during his career. He has always agreed with Jean Meloche’s motto: “Insurance puts the client first.” With his calm strength and his knowledge of the insurance industry, Michel is now part of the administration of Steamatic Canada as director of quality control in order to share the network’s vision for performance and allow the franchise owners to meet the goals set by our clients.

Patrick Séguin

Ontario Regional Manager

Pat Seguin has spent the last 12 years in the automotive remarketing industry more specifically with ADESA Canada at the Ottawa Auction facility. Starting out as an E-business coordinator in 2006, Pat helped grow the internet market and travelled the United States and Canada to train his counter-parts. A few years later, he was promoted to Sales Manager where he led a team to have record setting years and obtain multiple recognition awards. He has spent the last 4 years as the General Sales Manager where he has continued to grow dealer participation, create new and maintain commercial business relationships. In 2015, Pat was sent to auctioneering school and to date, he has auctioned off many vehicles. Pat is an energetic and enthusiastic leader who is driven by results and success of the company.

Brigitte Sabourin

Administrative Director

In 2000, Brigitte made her debut in the insurance field, as an administrative assistant at UAB (Underwriters Adjustment Bureau). In 2007, in order to specialize in this area, she was certified as a Property Damage Claims Adjuster. Three years later, she joined the ranks of Première Générale Gatineau as an administrative manager. Her experience as a claim adjuster is very beneficial for the office because she has an increased knowledge of, and ease of dealing with, claims management procedures. In 2016, Brigitte joined the Nancy Raymond team at the head office of Les Entreprises Première Générale as an operations coordinator. Following the acquisition, Brigitte occupies the position of Administrative Director, she provides administrative and technical support to franchisees and manages the bulk payment and volume rebate program.

Martin Michaud

Technical Director, Eastern Quebec

Martin started his career over 20 years ago. He spent 15 years of his career as a project manager and 5 years as Director of Operations for a Steamatic franchise. In 2019, Martin joined Steamatic Canada as Technical Director for Eastern Quebec, where he intends to complete his professional project, which is to continue to make Steamatic the undisputed choice in the field of disaster restoration. With his technical experience and IICRC and RSA certifications, Martin will provide Franchise support. Always ready for a new challenge, Martin is a field man who has at heart the profession. He is recognized for his dedication and generosity, he is strongly attached to the success of the franchisees and spares no effort to help, accompany and support them.

Maxime Lepage

Estimate Director

Maxime was 16 years old when he started in the construction industry. Coming from a family of contractors, the passion was transmitted to him at a very young age. As a graduate in building inspection, Maxime worked several years as an appraiser for construction sites and owning his building inspection company he brought his expertise in litigation file for the court, while continuing appraisal mandates. Wanting to broaden his horizons, Maxime worked as an appraiser for a Steamatic franchisee to finally join Steamatic Canada in 2019 as Estimate Director. Maxime has in-depth expertise in appraising, problem solving and building design, his goal is to standardize the entire network in order to offer superior quality in terms of appraisals to our customers.

Hugo Fontaine

Management Coordinator

With his extensive experience in the communications field, Hugo joined the Steamatic Canada family in March 2020 as Management Coordinator. A Montreal native, he was until recently Communications Manager for the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL. Before moving to the Gatineau, he worked for the Montreal Canadiens for over seven years as Senior Coordinator of Publications and Editorial content, where he was one of the writers for the team's official website, in addition to contributing to the creation of content for their various digital platforms. Hugo holds a Certificate in Management from Laval University and a Diploma of College Studies in Communications from Bois-de-Boulogne College. He was also employed by RDS through the Canadian Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
