Removing Carpet Stains

We love our pets, from the day we bring them home they’re a part of the family. When you have a dog or a cat accidents are bound to happen. If the stain is recent dry it out as much as possible. Blot the area with paper towel or a cloth to soak up the urine. Next you will need to mix water, and vinegar (of equal parts) with 4 tablespoons of baking soda. Mix the solution well. Pour the solution onto the stain and work it into the stain with a cleaning brush. Blot the area with a clean cloth or paper towel. Continue to repeat until the stain is no longer visible. The vinegar helps to remove the stain while the baking soda assists in removing the odour that may have been left behind.

Removing a red liquid stain such as kool aid, fruit punch, or wine can be a daunting task. Whether your child spilled their juice or a friend knocked over their wine glass, these red stains can be frustrating! You will need club soda, 1 teaspoon of dish soap, 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide, paper towel, and a vacuum. As goes for all stains the quicker you act the better. Pour a generous amount of club soda on the stain immediately to help break up the stain and prevent it from setting. Soak as much of the liquid up as possible using clean paper towels. Mix together the dish soap and hydrogen peroxide and spray it onto the stain. The soap and hydrogen peroxide will fight and remove the stain. Once you have blotted, vacuum over and enjoy a stain free carpet!

Just a short note to say thank you for your good work at my favorite place in the world. It was much appreciated. Your staff were courteous and helpful at every turn. I have passed my remarks to the insurance company. Being out of my house for 3 months was very frustrating for me at the time and being 85 years old we seniors are not as flexible as we once were. Thanks to all involved.
