    Carpenter Assistant – Steamatic PEI

    We are looking to hire a full-time Carpenter Assistant for our team at Steamatic of PEI.

    Steamatic PEI is searching for a full-time restoration technician to join our Stratford office. The responsibilities of this position would include but not limited to; providing professional response to related emergencies in residential homes and commercial properties. Technicians are responsible for stabilizing, cleaning, and placing drying equipment in preparation for restoration.

    The candidates for this position must have great customer service skills and be hard working, motivated, and comfortable with a variety of duties. If you feel your experience matches the requirements, apply today!

    General duties of this position would include:

    • Meeting homeowners while being polite and respectful.
    • Providing documentation such as photos, moisture readings and work orders.
    • Setup, monitoring and taking down of equipment.
    • Removal of damaged materials in residential and commercial properties.
    • Listing and moving of contents with minimal lift capacity of 75lbs.
    • Operating company vehicle.
    • Assisting with repair work and cleaning of ventilation ducts and heat pumps.
    • Performing on-call rotation as needed.
    • Comfortable in working in confined spaces.

    Requirements for this position would include:

    • Experience working in the restoration field would be considered an asset.
    • Experience within the construction field is considered an asset.
    • Completed IICRC courses are considered an asset.

    Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
